Vancouver Mini Maker Faire 2013
Vancouver Mini Maker Faire took over the PNE Forum for the another incredible exploration of science, tech, craft and art June 1-2, 2013. I’ve been very impressed by the creativity and dedication to craft at past Faires and this outing was no different. Many highlights were encountered, but finally seeing the the 50-foot mechanical snake Titanoboa in action was downright amazing. 3D printers are still making me question what the future holds, a Maker Mobile was crowdfunding to reality and Colin Johnson’s AT-AT bar – The Emperors Cabinet – is by far the coolest way to serve up a cocktail. You can see my past coverage from 2011 and 2012 by clicking the numbers, and below is a selection of images from this, the third-annual affair. Click an image for larger view, now with caption!
