  1. Hi Ang! Thanks for the compliment! Cuba is chock full of amazing photo opps it’s hard to go wrong.

I really enjoyed shooting the people and colours in Trinidad, a beautiful city on the hill a few miles from the southern Caribbean coast. Very rich musically here, too. Havana has a plethora of places – the Malécon, Old Havana, really almost anywhere on the street where the people are friendly and textures, architecture and street life take charge. Viñales (4 hrs west of Havana) features red earth, haystack-like Mogotes, tobacco fields and a bucolic air about it – beautiful and peaceful. I’d recommend shooting early morning in Viñales as the mist rises and the hills come into focus. I only covered the western half of the country, but need to return soon for more…it was truly an amazing place.

Are you thinking about planning a trip to Cuba for photography?

What do you think?
