Masked Marauder
As promised, a couple more shots from our little studio session on Salt Spring Island in early March. Sandra is a gracious model and very comfortable in front of the camera. We’ve been together 10 years and I’ve shot 1000s of frames of her along the way, so it’s a no wonder! Hope you like these two new takes.

i’m a fan of b/w photos but in this case i prefer the colour one … both photos are great but sceond one i like more and still not sure why ?
Thanks for your comment! I hear ya…to me, the colour shot has those nice little elements of blue feathers matching the cooler tone. I liked the b/w version for the starkness and texture on that leather mask. Expression seemed to match the high-contrast, too. But indeed, it’s always fun to experiment with different looks.
